Use
In this Customizing activity, you can change the following general settings in the Financial Closing cockpit Add-On:
- Authorization control level
You specify whether you want authorization check at the organizational unit level and the task level.
- Background job
In the Interval field, you specify the intervals at which the system makes the following checks:
- Whether any email notifications should be sent
- Whether any automatic tasks should start immediately
- When you create or change a schedulable task in the Financial Closing cockpit, you can select the Start Immediately checkbox to specify that you want the task to start immediately once its prerequisite tasks are complete. For more information, see Task Starts Immediately.
- Whether custom notification scenarios created using the Custom Notification Scenarios (FCC_BADI_NOTIFICATION_SCENARIO) Business Add-in (BAdI) are applied to active and released task lists
- Whether any remote jobs should be scheduled or have their status updated
In the User field, you specify the user you want to use for connecting to SAP Central Process Scheduling (SAP CPS) by Redwood. You can use transaction SU01 to create a valid user for connecting to SAP CPS. You need to make the following settings in SU01:
- On the Logon data tab, you define an alias for the user. The alias is a valid user in SAP CPS.
- On the Roles tab, you assign the Additional Role for Redwood Communications Users (SAP_BC_REDWOOD_COMM_EXT_SDL) and the Role for Redwood Job Scheduling, Communications Users (SAP_BC_REDWOOD_COMMUNICATION) to the user.
- Template maintenance
You specify whether you want to transport the following data between systems:
- Global IDs (see Global ID)
- Automatically generated global IDs (via selecting the Auto Global ID checkbox in the Create Task Group dialog box) (see Generate Global IDs Automatically)
- Updates to templates from task groups (see Task Groups)
- Profiles (see Define Profiles)

- Change document
You specify whether you want to track changes to templates and task lists. You can see the changes in the Change Documents Monitor. (See Change Documents Monitor)
- Other
You specify whether you want to display the technical status of jobs, remote jobs, and external jobs that are not integrated with the Financial Closing cockpit application. For more information, see Integrate Technical Status.
