Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define profiles for filtering task lists when you open them in the Financial Closing cockpit application. This filtering function helps you to quickly find the task lists relevant to you in the Open dialog box and the folders relevant to you after you open a filtered task list, thus saving you time. It also improves system performance by shortening the time the system needs to open a task list, especially when the task list contains hundreds of folders which may contain thousands of tasks.
You select which folders in which templates you want to display when you open the task lists created from those templates in a profile. A folder at the root level of a task list is one at the first level. You can choose to display folders up to the third level when defining a profile. When you apply a defined profile in the Open dialog box, the dialog box displays only the templates that contain the selected folders and the task lists created from those templates. When you open a filtered task list, the system displays only the selected folders and, if any, the tasks at the root level of the task list.
Note that when you open a filtered task list, you cannot switch to change mode. This helps avoid potential risks as the displayed task list is incomplete.
