Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define the remote systems that you want to use in the Financial Closing cockpit Add-On. You use a remote system to specify on which system and in which client you want to execute a remote transaction, remote program, or remote job. When you create a task whose task type is remote transaction, remote program, or remote job in the Define Templates and Task Groups Customizing activity in the Financial Closing cockpit, you can select and use the remote systems you have created in this Define Remote Systems Customizing activity.
When you define a remote system in this Customizing activity, you enter the system name, an existing remote function call (RFC) destination, and an existing background RFC destination. You use a background RFC destination to enable connections to a remote system that do not require manual log-on. The system defines whether to use the RFC destination or the background RFC destination in different cases. You can enter a description for the remote system to include such information as the system and the client the RFC destinations point to.
Requirements
You have configured RFC destinations in Configuration of RFC Connections (SM59).
