Use
In this Customizing activity, you can define and edit the notification configurations that you use in the Financial Closing cockpit Add-On. You use notification configurations to specify how email notifications should work. You can create multiple configurations. When creating or editing a template or task list, you can specify the configuration to use for the template or task list.
The Notification Scenario screen lists the available notification scenarios in the system. A notification scenario describes the circumstance in which email notifications should be sent to the responsible agent and the processor of a task. SAP delivers the numbered scenarios. You can add custom scenarios whose names start with the letter X, Y, or Z.
You maintain notification configurations on the Notification Configuration screen and the Notification Customizing screen.
To access the Notification Configuration screen, double-click the Notification Configuration folder on the left pane. In this screen, you specify the description of a notification, the inbox to send the notifications to, and the notification sender. You can also specify a notification configuration that system uses by default when you create a template or task list.
To access the Notification Customizing screen, select a configuration in the Notification Configuration screen and double-click the Notification Customizing folder. In this screen, you specify the scenarios you want notifications to be sent for, whether confirmation is necessary before sending notifications, and the notification template to use for each scenario. The names of the templates delivered by SAP and the scenario each template is used for are explained in the field help for the Notification Template column.
