Use
Use this step to categorize new employees, i.e. group them according to entrance criteria. For each group, you need to define a code consisting of 4 characters, and write a description. The code determines accessibility criteria for an employee group regarding possible participation in a benefit plan.
Use the feature Entrance grouping (ELIGR) to set up the entrance groups according to employee characteristics.
Requirements
Even if you do not wish to create different categories, you need to define at least one employee group that you must assign to all employees using the ELIGR feature.

Example
Within your organization, only employees working at least 80% are allowed to take part in a certain plan. If an employee is disabled and therefore partially unable to work, this restriction does not apply. You can now create the codes PTPT (participant), NPCT (non-participant) and DSBD (disabled), and set up the feature ELIGR to use this subdivision to assign accessibility rights to benefit plans.
