Use

Using the serialization you can make sure that the system processes the IDocs of the method PROCESS for a dispute case in the correct order.

The BAPI of the method PROCESS checks whether all IDocs of the preceding process steps have already been posted. If this is not the case, the IDoc remains in the inbox as an error with status 51 and can be posted later once the preceding process steps have been posted. If you use the program for writing off dispute cases automatically, then this situation can occur.

Activities

Activate the serialization in the Customizing of all systems involved under Application Link Enabling (ALE) -> Model and Implement Business Processes -> Maintain Distribution Model and Distribute Views:

  • Financial Accounting system
    Under Activate Business Objects in Outbox, enter the following data:
    • Partner number: Logical system of dispute case processing
    • Object type: BUS2022
    • Set the serialization indicator.
  • Dispute case processing system
    Under Activate Business Objects in Inbox enter the following data:
    • Partner number: Logical system for Financial Accounting
    • Object type: BUS2022
    • Set the serialization indicator
