Use
In this Customizing activity, you can specify which print forms are available within Project Management and which PDF forms can be used for project status reports and the milestone trend analysis. You do this individually for each project type.
The Smart Forms previously used have been replaced by PDF-based forms. However, you can still use your existing forms (except for approval documents and project status reports).
Requirements
- You have created the required forms in the Customizing activities Create Forms and Create PDF-Based Forms.
- You have created BAdI implementations for these forms in the Customizing activities BAdI: Forms and BAdI: PDF-Based Forms.
- You have created project types in the Customizing activity Define Project Types.
Standard settings
Activities
Activate the forms you want to use for the individual project types.
In addition to this, select the PDF forms that you want to use for the project status report and the milestone trend analysis. You can select several forms for these functions. However, the same form cannot be used for both.
If you still want to use existing Smart Forms, make sure that a PDF-based form with an identical name has not been activated for the project type. If forms with identical names have been activated for a project type, the system uses the PDF form.
Example
You have activated both the Smart Form DPR_TASK_HIER and the PDF form DPR_TASK_HIER for the required project type:
-> The application uses the PDF form to print the tasks.
You have activated the Smart Form DPR_TASK_HIER for the required project type and have deactivated the PDF form DPR_TASK_HIER:
-> The application uses the Smart Form to print the tasks.
