Use
In this activity, you can specify that you want to use Workforce Management Core for the qualifications search and matchup, instead of the standard system.
Requirements
Standard settings
In the standard system, the qualifications search and matchup using WFM Core are activated.
Activities
If you want to use WFM Core for the qualifications search and matchup, enter the value X.
If you leave the field blank, the system carries out the qualifications search and matchup in Project Resource Planning.
If you use WFM Core for the qualifications search, make sure that the qualifications exist in WFM Core. This is irrespective of whether a role is marked as relevant for the resource. If the qualification does not exist in WFM Core, it will not be displayed in the search results.
To transfer qualification data from CRM or HR to WFM Core, you can use the PRP_WFM_ADMIN report (you can either start this report as required or schedule it to run regularly). However, you can also use the Transfer Business Partner Changes to WFM Core and Groupware IMG activity to ensure that the data is transferred automatically. If you use an HR system, the ALE transfer from HR must also send qualifications to WFM Core to ensure that the employees can be displayed in the list of search results for the qualifications search.
