Use
In this Customzing activity, you incorporate SAP Smart Forms as templates for e-mails in Resource Planning. You can send the e-mails that you define in this activity directly from the Resource Planning application when assigning persons and tasks and after defining appointments.
The forms are language-specific. We advise you to define separate templates for each project language.
Requirements
You have created SAP Smart Forms (in the SMARTFORMS transaction). We advise you to copy one of the standard forms provided and to modify it to suit your requirements. You can, of course, create your own forms. If you do create new forms, you also have to define the interface.
Standard settings
The standard system provides various forms as templates for the subject line and the body text of e-mails to the selected manager or resource. It also provides templates for e-mails describing tasks and announcing appointments.
IF you do not select any templates, the e-mail remains blank.
Activities
- Choose New Entries.
- In the Usage Type field, select the type of template.
- In the Form Name field, use the possible entries help to select a form.
- Enter the language of the form.
- Save your data.
