Use

In this Customizing activity, you map Project Management fields to base project system fields. This defines which fields are transferred from Project Management and how they should be transferred. You can also group object into main objects and subobjects.

The main object determines which Project Management data is transferred to the base system.

The subobject determines which Project Management object is transferred.

This configuration step is required for all SAP and non-SAP project systems.

Activities

  1. Select a groupimg for the main object link type (Main Object) and a grouping for the subobject link type (Subobject).
  2. Double-click Field Mapping.
  3. Select a Subobject Field Name.
  4. Select a Project Management Object.
  5. Select a Project Management Object Field Name.

Example

This example describes the mapping of Project Management to Microsoft Project.

The main and subgroupings are defined as follows:
