Use
In this Customizing activity, you can activate the change document function for the following objects in Project Management:
- Checklist templates
- Project templates
- Projects
- Control plans
- Control plan templates
Requirements
Standard settings
The function for these objects is deactivated in the standard system.
Activities
Select the checkbox for all objects for which you want to write change documents. If the function is active, changes to dependent objects are also recorded. For example, if you select the checkbox for the object category project the system records all changes to the project itself as well as phases, checklists, checklist items, the approval, and so on.
The system does not record changes to the following objects:
- Long texts
- Comments or notes
- Documents
