Use
In this IMG activity you create new price types or change existing price types.
Note:
You only need to process this activity if you want to create custom price types or modify the attributes of the standard price types.
Requirements
Standard settings
SAP supplies the following standard price types:
- 001 Inventory price
- 002 Standard price
- 003 Planned price
Activities
Start the transaction. You can modify the attributes of the proposed price types or create new price types. Grayed-out fields cannot be changed.
Go to the detailed view of the price types.
Enter the following for each price type:
- Short text
- Medium text
- Long text
(you need to enter at least one of the above)
- Object class (input help)
- Price periodicity (input help)
Depending on which indicator is set, the price type is available for a change history, for manual changes, or for inventory valuation.
Save your entries.
