Requirements
Standard settings
The SAP standard settings contain the necessary default values.
Recommendation
We recommend that you do not change these standard settings.
Activities
If you want to use settings other than the standard, change the parameter to suit your requirements.
You can determine the following in the individual fields:
CRCAL: Calculating the compa-ratio: Average value/Reference salary
In this field, you determine which value the system is to use as the reference value to calculate an employee's compa-ratio.
Possible entries:
- 'M' or ' ' (empty)
The compa-ratio is calculated from the average value of the salary band.
- 'R'
The compa-ratio is calculated from the reference salary saved in the pay grade structure information table.
CRSAL: Calculating the compa-ratio: Basic/Annual salary
In this field, you determine the calculation basis the system uses to calculate an employee's compa-ratio.
Possible entries:
- ' ' (empty)
Compa-ratio is calculated from the basic salary.
The system calculates the basic salary from the sum of the amounts of the individual wage types in the Basic Pay infotype (0008). - 'X'
Compa-ration is calculated from the annual salary.
The system calculates the annual salary from the sum of the basic salary and the amounts from the Recurring Payments/Deducts (0014) and Additional Payments (0015) infotypes.

CRVAR: Calculating the compa-ratio: Pay grade/Pay grade level
In this field, you determine how the system is to calculate the employee's compa-ratio.
Possible entries:
- 'G' or ' ' (empty)
The compa-ratio is calculated according to pay grade.
- 'L'
The compa-ratio is calculated according to the pay grade level.
