Use
In this IMG activity, you define the standard waiting list level and the standard waiting list capacity.
When the system calculates waiting list places, it first determines the waiting list level. Then it determines the number of waiting list places for this waiting list level based on the percentage value specified. The system determines the object's optimum capacity for the given waiting list level.
You define the waiting list level and the number of waiting list places in percent in the Module Data infotype of the respective module (infotype 1746).
Standard Waiting List Level
The system always uses the standard waiting list level in cases where no (specific) waiting list level is defined for the module.
Standard Waiting List Capacity
The system always uses the standard waiting list capacity percentage if no waiting list place percentage is defined for the module.
Requirements
Standard settings
The SAP standard system contains the following settings:
- Standard waiting list level: value " " (blank)
- Standard waiting list capacity: value 0
Activities
In the entry with group MODREG and setting WAITL_LEV, enter the required standard waiting list level. The following values are permissible:
Value Standard waiting list level
SM Module
SE Event package
E Business event
" " (blank) No standard waiting list level
In the entry with group MODREG and setting WAITL_NUM, enter a numerical value between 0 and 999 for the standard waiting list capacity.
Example
You want to assign waiting list places on the basis of modules and define a standard waiting list capacity of 10 percent. This setting should apply across all clients. You make the following settings:
- Standard waiting list level: Value SM
- Standard waiting list capacity: Value 10
The system only uses the standard waiting list level if no specific waiting list level is specified for the module.
If the system determines a module as the waiting list level and no waiting list place percentage is specified for this module, it determines the number of waiting list places as follows:
- Standard waiting list capacity: 10 percent
- Optimum module capacity: 150
- Number of waiting list places for the module: 15
