Use

In this activity, you make the settings for the default values the system proposes when you perform registration activities.

You can define different default values for the following fields:

  • Academic year and Academic session

    When you register a student, the system automatically defaults to the next academic year or next academic session based on the system date. If you want the system to default to the current academic year or academic session instead, you must specify the number of days during which you want the system to propose this default value.

  • Completed length of study

    You can activate the default mechanism for the field completed length of study.

Requirements

These settings are only relevant if your university requires explicit registration and re-registration.
