Use
In this IMG activity, you define how the system should calculate each academic performance index by assigning it a calculation.
You can implement user-defined calculations in this section using the BAdI HRPIQ00SI2_PINDX_CAL (Performance Index Calculation).
You can also assign academic scales to a performance index:
- The scale you specify in the first scale column is used to round values before calculation.
Example: You want to use a quality scale with the values 1.0; 1.3; 1.7; 2.0; 2.3; 2.7 etc. for a specific calculation.
If the grade value is 3.63, the system rounds this value to 3.7 before performing the calculation. - The scale you specify in the second scale column is used to present the calculation results.
Example: You want the system to round the calculation result to two decimal places using a specific quantity scale.
If the result is 2.78731, the system rounds this value to 2.79.
Furthermore, you can assign one or more filters to a performance index and parameters to these filters. If a performance index is assigned several filters, the order of these filters does not play a role in processing. The system determines the order of filters at random.
You can implement user-defined filters in this section using the BAdI HRPIQ00SI2_PINDX_FIL (Performance Index or Subrequirement Filters).
You can specify a value for each parameter. For example, if the parameter defines a discipline, you can preassign the value for this discipline.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
Define the performance indices you require by assigning the relevant values.
Note
You can also use performance indices for subrequirements. When you define subrequirements, you can select from all the performance indices that exist in the system (irrespective of the calculation point). In this context, the performance indices you calculate are not determined by a calculation point.
