Use

In this IMG activity, you define exam profiles. An exam profile is a reusable set of exam attributes. Exam profiles have the following attributes:

  • Exam duration
  • Exam mode
  • Functions exercised in the following activities:
    • EX01: Conduct exam
    • EX02: Prepare exam
    • EX03: Evaluate exam
  • Number of resources per function

Requirements

You have defined the required exam modes and functions. You make these settings in the IMG activities Define Exam Modes and Set Up Functions.

Activities

  1. Enter a four-character alphanumeric key and a description for each required exam profile.
  2. Choose an exam mode.
  3. Choose the Assign Function action.
    1. Assign the relevant activities and functions.
    2. Specify the number of resources per function.

Example

According to your university's exam regulations, midterm exams are 30-minute, single-student oral exams which are held by an examiner and a co-examiner.

You have already defined the exam mode oral and the functions examiner and co-examiner.

In this activity, you set up an exam profile with the following attributes:

  • Duration 30
  • Unit MIN
  • Exam mode oral

You then assign the following functions to this exam profile:
