Use
In this IMG activity, you define parameters for performance index or subrequirement filters and subrequirement conditions.
- The parameters for performance index filters determine the critera according to which the system filters academic work objects and thus how the system determines the calculation basis for a performance index. For more information, see IMG activity Define Parameters for Performance Indices.
- The parameters for subrequirement filters determine the criteria according to which the system selects the academic work objects of a student.
- The parameters for subrequirement conditions determine the criteria according to which the system evaluates a condition.
Activities
- Enter an up to 30-character alphanumeric key and a description for each parameter you create.
- In order for the system to choose the correct values for a specific parameter, you must enter the structure and the field name of the table that contains the relevant values.
Example
Your university requires students in the Physics program to take five credits from the Science discipline.
To find out which of the student's academic work objects can be used to meet this subrequirement, you filter the objects by discipline. You can assign this filter a discipline parameter. You can then use this filter to filter objects according to all disciplines.
You define the parameter values when you define the subrequirements.
If you want the system to offer input help when you define the subrequirements, you must assign a type to the DISZIP parameter by entering the structure and the field name. In this example, you would enter infotype HRT1744 as the structure and DISZIP as the field name.
