Document
Document Class | SIMG | Hypertext: Object Class - Class to which a document belongs. |
Document Name | CM_XX_AUDIT01 |
Use
In this IMG activity, you define audit types. You can use the audit type to classify the different kinds of academic requirement tracking used at your university, such as:
- Degree audit
- Stage audit
You can set up the rules and rule determination procedure for each audit type.
Note
Every audit type must be defined as a subtype of the Requirement Catalogs (1778) infotype. You can use the the customer namespace 9000 to 9999 when you create the technical keys of customer-specific audit types.
You must create a subtype of the Requirement Catalogs (1778) infotype for each audit type, and use the technical key of the audit type as the subtype number. You make this setting in Customizing for Campus Management under Basic Settings -> Object Type Modeling Enhancement -> Infotype -> Subtype -> Maintain Subtypes.
Requirements
You have defined the parameters for parameter-dependent requirements. You make this setting in the IMG activity Define Parameters for Audit Types. You only have to perform this activity if you create your own audit types.
Standard settings
The standard system contains the following audit types:
- 1000 - Degree audit
(including subtype 1000 of infotype 1778)
- 2000 - Stage audit
(including subtype 2000 of infotype 1778)
The parameter STAGE is assigned to this audit type.
- 3000 - Module audit
(including subtype 2000 of infotype 1778)
Note
Do not make any changes to entries in the standard system.
Activities
- Enter a key in the customer namespace (9000 to 9999) and a description for each audit type you create.
- Enter an evaluation path for the main requirement catalog, if required.
You define evaluation paths in Customizing for Campus Management under Campus Management Master Data -> Academic Structure -> Organizational Structure -> Organizational Management -> Basic Settings -> Maintain Evaluation Paths.
- Assign a parameter to parameter-dependent audit types.
- Create a subtype of the Requirement Catalogs (1778) infotype using the technical key of the audit type as the subtype number.
