Use
In this IMG activity, you can define calculation methods for repetition attempts in Appraisals.
By default, three repetition methods are already defined in the system:
- AVER
If a student has repeated appraisals for a certain appraisal type, for example, Exam Appraisal, the system takes the average of all the appraisals to form the result of Exam Appraisal.
- BEST
The system only counts the appraisal with the best grade among all the repetitions. If there is more than one appraisal that could be considered the 'best,' (for example, 2 appraisals with the same grade,) then only one of them is counted.
- LAST
The system only takes into account the latest apprasial attempt, that is, the attempt with highest attempt number.
