Use

In this IMG activity, you can assign one or more categories to every teaching activity, and then assign a weighting to each entry combination.

The weighting factor is used for information purposes only, and is not evaluated by default in the standard system. However if you wish to, you can use the weighting factor in customer-specific programs, for example, to analyze the teaching activity billing data for a specific teaching activity grouping.

Note

The assignment of teaching activities to categories is optional. If a teaching activity does not have a category assigned to it, you can use the standard weighting factor 1 for it when you run a customer-specific report program.

Requirements

You have defined the required categories. You make this setting in Customizing for Campus Management in the IMG activity Define Categories.

  1. Choose a category and assign it a teaching activity.
  2. Define a weighting factor for each combination of category and teaching activity.

You can weight your entry combinations as follows:
