Use

If you use an implementation of the BAdI HRPIQ00_ST_ACCOUNT (student account data) to derive account data which is not part of the standard system, it is necessary that automatic update be triggered when changes are made to the affected infotypes. Account data which is not part of the standard system is:

  • Account data in customer-defined infotypes
  • Account data in infotypes not used in the standard derivation

Standard settings

Automatic update of account data is automatically triggered in the following infotypes:

  • 1702 (Personal Data)
  • 1705 (Individual Study Data)
  • 1706 (Fee Calculation Data)
  • 1001 (Relationships) with relationship 502

You do not need to make any settings for these infotypes.

Activities

Create an entry with function module HRIQ_EVENT_ST_ACCT_UPD_BACKGR for the required infotypes and function codes.

Example

You want the system to trigger an automatic update when you create and change data records in customer infotype 9001.

You create a separate entry for the update operations INS and UPD with the following values:

  • Object type: ST
  • Infotype: 9001
  • Object type: PDOTYPE_ST
  • Function module: HRIQ_EVENT_ST_ACCT_UPD_BACKGR
