Use

In this IMG activity, you define which module group category within a module group variant is relevant for fee calculation.

During fee calculation, the system determines all the module group bookings of a student. It first selects all module group bookings that belong to the module group category which is flagged in Customizing. If a student has booked more than one module group in this module group category, the system uses the module group with the highest priority in the Priority field.

The fee calculation program can only process one module group booking. If the defined module group booking does not satisfy your requirements, then you can define the module group booking using the BAdI for Pricing in Student Accounting (CMAC_BADI_PRICING). This is supported in the method Set_All. For more information, see the BAdI documentation.

The system supports calculation of module group fees only for the calculation base "study data".

Activities

Select module group bookings for fee calculation by defining a combination of module group variant and module group category.

Example

In a program that has two minors and one major, you would like to charge fees only for the major.

You first define a fee category for the major. Then you create an entry in this Customizing table for the program-specific module group variant and the associated module group category.
