In this IMG activity, you define the different discount/surcharge categories you require to determine prices in fee calculation.
You can assign the defined discount/surcharge categories to students on the Fee Calculation Data tab page in master data maintenance. This tab page contains six separate fields which you can assign to students, each representing a specific discount/surcharge category. In this IMG activity, you can define each of these discount/surcharge categories according to your individual requirements.
You can use the defined categories in the condition tables. For more information, see Campus Management -> Student Accounting -> Fees -> Pricing -> Pricing Procedures -> Define Condition Tables in the IMG.
Examples
Possible discount/surcharge categories are:
- Housing
- Meals
- Discount for second and further children attending the university
Activities
Enter a four-character alphanumeric key and a description for each required category.
