In this activity, you set up the registration types so that you can classify the students registered in a program of study.

You can specify that students with a specific registration type are pursuing degree studies.

You can also define a default registration type. The system automatically proposes the default value when you assign a student a registration type.

Example

Possible registration types are:

  • Regular student
  • Occasional student

Activities

  1. Choose New entries.
  2. Enter a two-character alphanumeric key and a description for each registration type you require.
  3. Set the indicator Degree for registration types that involve degree studies.
  4. Decide which registration type you want the system to propose as the default. Set the radio button Default for this registration type.
  5. Choose Save.
