Use
In this IMG activity, you maintain the possible Ethnic Origin values for the following cases:
- IPEDS Ethnicity Multi-Race code
On the IPEDS Ethnicity tab page, if you choose the option IPEDS Ethnicity Multi-Race code, the system determines the value of the student's Ethnic Origin based on the value that you maintain in this IMG activity.
- Race Unknown
On the IPEDS Ethnicity tab page, if you maintain that the student's race as unknown and do not enter a race code value, the system determines the value of the student's Ethnic Origin based on the value that you specify in this IMG activity.
- Non-resident Aliens
On the IPEDS Ethnicity tab page, if you maintain that the student belongs to the category Non-resident Alien, then the system determines the value of the student's Ethnic Origin based on the value that you specify in this IMG activity.
Note
You maintain the Ethnic Origin data of a student in the IPEDS Ethnicity tab page of the Student Master Data.
