Use
In this IMG activity, you define the package size for parallel processing in fee calculation. The package size represents the number of students to be processed in one package.
Requirements
You have defined a server group as the default RFC group. You make this setting in the next IMG section RFC Groups.
The system requires several servers for parallel processing. It determines the relevant servers via the default RFC group and distributes the load among these.
Activities
In the entry with the group FEECALC and setting PACKSIZE, specify the required package size.
Example
The package size is set to 100. You run fee calculation for 1000 students.
In this case, the system packs 100 students into one package when you run fee calculation. Fee calculation for these 1000 students is therefore divided into 10 packages.
