In this IMG activity, you define the grant types and assign each grant type the standard contract object type for the sponsor.
You must specify the grant type when you create grant data. Every grant must be assigned a grant type.
The grant type is one of the attributes which determine the contract object type for the sponsor. When you assign a standard contract object type to the grant type, the system posts the grant to the sponsor's contract account with a contract object of this contract object type.
If a sponsor offers different grant types, you can administer the associated grants in the sponsor's contract account using different contract objects.
Requirements
You have defined the contract object types. You make this setting in Customizing for Campus Management in the IMG activity Maintain Contract Object Types to be Created Automatically.
Activities
- Enter a two-character alphanumeric key and a description for each required grant type.
- Assign every grant type a standard contract object type for the sponsor.
