In this IMG activity, you make the settings for document type derivation in fee calculation. The document type is used to classify documents and is stored in the document header when you post a document. The system can derive the document type from the following attributes:

You can influence the selection of key fields in the activity by choosing Goto -> Key Selection.
Requirements
You have defined the required document types. You make this setting in Customizing for Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable in the IMG activity Maintain Document Types and Maintain Number Ranges.
Activities
- Choose Create.
- Enter the required attributes.
- Determine the relevant document type.
