In this IMG activity, you define condition types and assign each condition type an access sequence and various parameters.
You use condition types to map pricing elements such as fees, prices, surcharges, taxes, etc. in the SAP system. You define a separate condition type for each university or administrative fee defined in fee calculation. You can also specify whether a surcharge or discount is a percentage or an absolute value. By assigning an access sequence to the condition type, you define which fields the SAP system should check when it searches for a valid condition record.
Note: You define the amount and validity period of pricing elements in condition records.
Requirements
You have defined the required condition tables and access sequences in the previous IMG activities.
You have defined the required formulas. You make this setting in Customizing for Campus Management under Student Accounting -> Fees -> System Extensions -> Routines for Requirements and Formulas -> Define Formulas for Pricing.
