In this IMG activity, you assign a time limit sequence to the time limit fields.
When you make this assignment, the system can derive the time limit sequence from the time limit field. The time limit field contains a date because a date field is assigned to it. When the system calculates fees, it can use the time limits you have assigned to the time limit sequence to determine the period in which this date falls. From this period, the system derives the respective time limit. (Note: The defined periods may not have any gaps nor overlap each other.)
Requirements
You have defined the required time limit sequence. You make this setting in Customizing for Campus Management in the activity Define Time Limit Sequences and Assign Time Limits.
Standard settings
In the previous IMG activity, you can see which date field is assigned to the time limit field.
Activities
Assign the required time limit sequence to the structure and time limit field combination.
