In this step, you define the dependent coverages that are used in claim plans.
Define all possible variations that you need because this view is not specific to any plan or plan option.
The dependent cover ( field is assigned in Claim rule for plan ) is used in claim rule to assign dependent cover to plan. This information is used in enrollment and for all future claims made by employee in favour of dependents.

Recommendation
You can specify dependent coverages that allow for any number of dependents. During enrollment the system checks that you have selected no more dependents than you have specified here in this view. The system does NOT check that the person has any particular relationship to the employee.
Activities
Identify all dependent coverages that you need.
Select the "New entries" function.
Enter a four-character identifier for each dependent coverage.
Enter descriptions and the number of dependents covered for each.
