Use
In this IMG activity, you can use the CCURE CPAUT switch to activate the option of a user simultaneously changing his or her personal data for all personnel assignments that belong to the same central person (object type CP) but not necessarily to the same user (object type US). The user logs on once and changes his or her address, for example. This change is then transferred to all other personnel assignments that belong to the same central person.
This affects data where the change authorization is controlled by the standard authorization objects such as P_PERNR, P_CATSXT, or P_ASRCONT. However, if the user has a personnel assignment with special authorizations, the user must log on with the personnel number of this personnel assignment to be able to change this data.
In addition, you can use the switch to prevent a concurrently employed or global employee who has comprehensive access to data due to structural authorizations (for example, for an organizational unit) from being able to change this data for his or her own personnel assignments that belong to the same organizational unit. If you activate the switch, the authorizations in all of an employee's personnel assignments to change personal data (such as authorizations controlled by the authorization object P_PERNR) have priority over structural authorizations.

Activities
Example
An employee is a salaried employee in organization unit A with the personnel assignment 1. At the same time, this employee has another personnel assignment 2 as a personnel administrator. Via structural authorizations, the employee with personnel assignment 2 can edit salary data for the organizational unit A. The employee cannot change his or her own salary data for the personnel assignment 2.
If you do not activate the CCURE CPAUT switch, this employee can still edit his or her own salary data for personnel assignment 1 as this personnel assignment belongs to the same organizational unit and the employee's structural authorizations are valid here. If the switch is not active, the system does not know that the personnel assignment 1 belongs to this employee and that he or she is not really allowed to change the salary data.
If you activate the switch, the employee cannot change his or her own salary data for personnel assignment 1 either, as the authorizations for changing personal data have priority over the structural authorizations.
