Recommendation
Activities
Important standard settings for the Business Information Warehouse are kept in the RSADMIN table. You must maintain the following settings:

Change and Transport This setting determines whether you are
Organizer active using the CTO or not. If you are using
the CTO, please pay attention to the
following:
- Each change to an object results in a
change request and a transport request.
- You should use the correct settings
within the number range. Otherwise,
problems may arise when transporting
objects in another system.
- You should activate this option, if you
are planning to transport the object in
the future. This option should only not
be activated for test purposes.
Currency Conversion You should activate this option if you
want to load data from an external
system. Otherwise problems may arise
due to internal data representation.
User for the Debug- The user specified here is able to use
Mode the Debug-mode. This can be helpful if
errors arise.
Field delimiter for CSV- Should be set to the delimiters that files occur in the source system data.
Otherwise, problems will arise due to the
incorrect representation of internal
data.
Field separators for Default values for using CSV-files. These
CSV-files options can be overwritten in the
scheduler.
Release of the In this option, you can specify the
application hierarchy release number of the last or highest
Administrator Workbench release that is used in your R/3 OLTP
system. If you choose Meta Data Update,
the application hierarchy for source
systems with lower release levels is not
set up again.
Number of data records This option refers to the number of data
per IDOC records that are delivered in one IDOC by
a flatfile upload. The global setting
should lie between 5000 and 10000,
depending on how many data records you
wish to load.
Waiting time until the This is the waiting time until the moment
lights turn to red at which an request is to be set to
on the monitor �broken�. The waiting time is exactly the
same length of time as the period which
has passed since the last data record was
received from the system.
Prefix to IDOC-category This is the prefix that is used for the
name space. It should be set to ZS,
because problems may otherwise arise.
