Use

You can use this activity to create a precalculation server to precalculate workbooks. You need this function for Information Broadcasting.

You can also test the precalcuation of a workbook here.

Requirements

You have already installed the precalculation software from the Server Components CD 6.40 on to your PC.

Standard settings

Activities

Create precalculation server:

  1. Choose Create precalculation server.
  2. Specify the name of the server and a description.
  3. Choose Continue. The entry will now appear in the status overview. When you start the program, the displayed traffic light turns green, which means that you can precalculate with this server.

Test the precalculation:

  1. Choose Test the precalculation. You jump to the screen BEx precalculation.
  2. Choose the workbook for which you wish to test precalculation.
