Use
In this activity you can maintain Single-Sign-On settings in the BW system.
To include portal content in BEx Web Application Designer, you need SSO tickets that are created in the BW system. To call BEx Web Applications in the portal, the BW system has to accept the SSO tickets from the portal.
You need this setting for all integration scenarios.

Activities
To maintain the required settings for Single Sign-On in the BW system, complete the following steps:
- To use Single Sign-On (SSO), install SAPSECULIB on each of the BW system's application servers. SSO software does not need to be installed on the client PC.
- Use the Maintain Profile transaction (RZ10) to set the following profile parameters:
- login/create_sso2_ticket=2
- The profile parameter generates SSO tickets in the BW system. These are required for communication between SAP BW 3.5 and SAP EP 6.0. Value 2 indicates that the certificate is self signed.
- login/accept_sso2_ticket=1
The profile parameter means that the BW system accepts SSO tickets from other systems (the portal for example) if the relevant certificate is imported (see Importing Portal Certificates).
For more information, see the documentation on Single Sign-On (SAP Logon Ticket) and SAP Note 354819.
