Use
In this activity you import the SAP Basis Plug-In into the BW system.
The SAP Basis Plug-In (PI_BASIS) is required for the integration of the BW system and the portal.

Activities
Execute the following steps to import the SAP Basis Plug-In into the BW system:
- Download the SAP Basis Plug-In (PI_BASIS) from http://service.sap.com/swdc.
- Start the Transport Management System (transaction code STMS).
- Import the SAP Basis Plug-In into the BW system.
Check
You can perform a check when you load BW roles into the portal.

Overview
This activity is a step in report Maintain Settings for Integration to Portal (RSPOR_SETUP). This report supports you in maintaining settings for integrating BW and the portal. Alternatively, you can call the individual steps in transactions RSPOR_CUST01 to RSPOR_CUST13.
The necessary parameters are requested upon execution. The individual parameters are described in the documentation Overview: Integration into Portal.
