Use

Before a user can call the tools for BW-Integrated Planning as an iView in the portal, you must first assign the portal role com.sap.ip.bi.business_planning_showcase to the user.

Requirements

You are assigned the administrator role.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Start the function for role assignment. To do this, in the portal, choose Portal Admin -> Role Assignment.
  2. Select the user or group to which you want to assign a role.
  3. In the left column, select Edit.

    The screen from which you can assign roles to users or groups appears. The attributes for the user or group are displayed on the left of the screen; they are only displayed if they have been maintained in the LDAP directory service of the company. On the upper right, the roles already assigned to the user or group are displayed. On the lower right, all roles in the system are displayed.

  4. Select the portal role com.sap.ip.bi.business_planning_showcase from the list on the lower right. Choose Add.

    The role is added to the list of roles assigned to this user or group.

  5. Choose Save.
