Requirements
This setting is relevant only if in BW 2.X you used the BEx browser on the Web, and you want to use it in its old form in BW 3.X. Before you are able do this, you need to release the corresponding function modules.
In BW 3.X, there is the option of incorporating directly into a Web report, an overview of the roles and favorites as a Web-item menu.
You do not need to make these settings if you want to use only the new function. The new function gives you the same options as the old version.
Standard settings
For security reasons, the default setting for function modules in the BW system is that they cannot be called using WebRFC (meaning using the ITS). If you want to use the Business Explorer browser functions in the Web browser (using the ITS) you have to open a few function modules in the BW system for accessing the intranet/internet.

Activities
Choose Internet Release -> Function Modules. Release the following function modules for the internet:
- RSBB_WWW_BROWSER_GATE
- RSBB_WWW_BROWSER_TREE
- RSBB_WWW_NODES_READ
- RSBB_WWW_NODES_SEARCH
- RSBB_WWW_TITLEBAR
