Requirements
This setting is relevant only if in BW 2.X you have used HTML templates that are stored on the ITS (for example, for interactive graphics). If you want to continue using these HTML templates in BW 3.X you need to release the corresponding function modules.
You no longer need to make these settings if you use only HTML templates that are stored on the BW server.
Standard settings
For security reasons, the default setting for function modules in the BW system is that they cannot be called using WebRFC (meaning using the ITS). If you want to use this function, you have to open a function module in the BW system for accessing the intranet/internet.
Recommendation
Activities
Select Internet Release -> Function Modules. Release the function module WEBQUERY for the internet.
Further notes
You can use the function module WWW_HTML_ECHO(TEST) for test purposes.
