Use
You use this activity to add documents to BW objects, and to link to these documents and search in them in various formats, versions and languages.
The BW system uses the Knowledge Provider content model to manage these documents.

Standard settings
Activities
Generated Properties Tab Page:
You can check the characteristics that you want to set as properties for documents of transaction data, to establish how many document properties have already been generated at any given time.
Document Content Repository Tab Page:
You can specify the storage type as a physical storage medium for the documents that you want to create.
Online Documentation Tab Page:
You can exclude various areas from the generation of online documentation.
Document Indexing Tab Page:
These settings are only relevant if you are using the document search instead of the recommended metadata search. You can only do this if a search server relation has been created.
You can put documents (including online documentation for metadata objects) into the indexing queue and schedule the processing of this queue as a regular job so that the documents are included in the search.
