You use this activity to make settings regarding the performance of the database interface for Oracle.

Logging with Index:
You use this indicator to determine whether the index build is also written to database backup. This may mean that indexes can be rebuilt more quickly, however the index build will take longer.
As the default setting, Oracle database logging for the index build is switched off. This means that indexes cannot be rebuilt from database backup. They have to be rebuilt afterwards using transaction RSRV.
Degree:
This parameter determines the number of parallel processes that can be used when building Oracle aggregates and indexes.
