Use
In this IMG activity you can control the delta management for the extraction of the data for activity status conversion.
In the BI system, DataSource 0TB_DEANALYSIS_ATTR extracts the data for the activity status conversion from DataStore object 0TB_DS15, analyzes it, and writes in back to the DataStore object.
Depending on the update mode, either all the data is extracted, or only that changed since the last extraction.
All the data is normally only transferred during the first extraction and after that, only the changed data. If an inconsistency on the database arises due to an incorrect extraction, by selecting the initial update mode in this IMG activity, you can again have all the data extracted.
Requirements
Standard settings
The standard setting for the update mode is Initialization of Delta Transfer. This means that all the data is transferred for the first extraction.
After the first transfer, the BI system automatically changes the update mode to Transfer Delta Since Last Request.
Activities
To extract all the data, choose Initialization of Delta Transfer as update mode.
To only extract the data that has been changed since the last extraction, choose Transfer Delta Since Last Request as update mode.
You can simulate the data transfer by setting the Simulation indicator and choosing a date for the simulation.
