Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the component BW-BCT-PLA-RMP (Retail Merchandise Planning).
You can use this BAdI to perform an additional authorization check in event processing.
For more information about using this BAdI, see its technical documentation, which you can access in the BAdI Builder.
Requirements
The BAdI is always implemented for a set of events that serve as a filter value for the implementations. Before you can implement the BAdI, you must have created the event that is relevant for the BAdI in Customizing.
Standard settings
The authorization check using the BAdI is performed in addition to the check with the authorization objects /MAP/EVOCC and /MAP/EVASS. The BAdI can only be used to restrict authorizations; it is not possible to extend a user's authorization.
The BAdI is filter-dependent and is not designed for multiple use. Therefore, there can only be one active implementation for a filter value. If there is no active customer implementation, the system does not carry out an SAP default implementation in addition to the authorization check described above.
The BAdI has the instance creation mode "reused instantiation". The BAdI call always addresses the same instance of the class that implements the BAdI. This enables buffer data to be stored in the implementing class.
The processed event serves as a filter.
Activities
For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.
Example
You can use class /MAP/CL_EVT_AUTH_EXAMPLE, which is supplied by SAP, as an example for your own authorization checks.
