Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the settings for the Report-Report Interface with Business Add-In (BAdI) definition RS_BBS_BADI.

Requirements

You have to establish an RFC-Connection to the source system from which the HCM profile is read. You also have to make Customizing settings in table Logical Web Servers for Logical Systems (TWPURLSVR). Here you have to enter the RFC source system as the Logical System (Field LOGSYS). For the URL you also have to enter the Web Server (Field WEB_SERVER) and the Web Protocol (Field WEB_PROTCL).

Standard settings

SAP delivers the standard implementation RS_BBS_BADI_TCM_EOVR for this BAdI. With this implementation, you can display HCM profiles for employees (Talent Profile or Compensation Profile) from the output list of HCM queries.

Activities

If you want to implement the BAdI for your customer-specific queries, proceed as follows:

  1. Call up transaction rsbbs.
  2. Under Sender, enter the name of the query for which you want to display an HCM profile. You also have the option to enter an Info Provider on the respective tab. In that case, the HCM profile can be displayed for all queries of that Info Provider.
  3. Choose Create. The dialog box Maintain Sender/Receiver Assignment is displayed.
  4. Under Report Type, select the last option Employee Profile from the dropdown box.
  5. Under Target System, enter the source system (the RFC Connection that you have established).
  6. Under Report, choose the Talent Profile (HRTMC_LONG_PROFILE) or the Enterprise Compensation Profile (HCM_ECM_PROFILE_OIF).
  7. Choose Transfer to complete your entries.
