Use

If you want to use the BW Administration Cockpit that is delivered with BI Content, you must first make various settings. You can set up the BW Administration Cockpit either in this BW system or in another BW system if, for example, you want to use it for central monitoring purposes.

To do this, enter the relevant BW system on the customizing screen.

Note:

You can also use the InfoProviders, queries and Web templates that are used in the Administration Cockpit without a portal. In this case, we recommend that you integrate the delivered Web templates into your own Web templates.

Requirements

You have installed BI Content release 7.0.2 SP1 or higher in the BW system, in which you want to set up the Administration Cockpit.
