In the IMG activity Additional Partner Numbers you can change several of the variables for the fixed identification categories (and their descriptions):
The field Partner Category determines whether this identification category applies for all partner categories (no entry) or only for a certain partner category. To use this field, you must set the Check for Partner Category indicator (Check Cat.).
In the Funct. Name field you can specify a check module that verifies the syntax of the ID number entry. To use this field, you must also set the Default indicator.
The Ref.Funct. indicator controls whether the number category for the partner is unique. If you set this indicator, several partners can use the ID number attribute value.
The Multiple indicator controls whether a partner can have an ID category with several values.
The Default indicator controls whether the function module specified in the Funct.Name field is considered. If you enter the name of a function module, but do not set this indicator, the function module is not considered.
The Check Cat. indicator controls whether this identification category only applies for the partner category in the Part. cat. field, or also for all other categories.
Example
Check Reference Function (Ref.Funct.) indicator:
You would not set this indicator for ID category "001 ID Card Germany", since you only have one ID card number for each partner. By contrast, you could set the indicator for the ID category "002 Group Key", since several people in the organization may have the same group key.
Multiple Usage (Multiple) indicator:
You would not set this indicator for ID category "001 ID Card Germany", since each partner has only one ID card. You could, however, set the indicator for the ID category "002 License Plate Number", since a partner may have several vehicles.
Requirements
Identification categories and corresponding descriptions have already been created. You can define additional categories in View V_BPID003_E.
