In the application you can define several net present values for an OTC transaction. These are identified by the price/NPV types defined here.

In the course of a mark-to-market evaluation you use the price/NPV types to determine which of the stored NPVs are accessed.

Example

OTC option    Price/NPV type A    Price/NPV type B,

Option 1    105 USD    110 USD

Option 2    500 USD    520 USD

If you set indicator A in the course of a price/flow type evaluation, the system accesses 105 USD for option 1 and 500 USD for option 2.

Activities

  1. Choose New entries to create a new price/NPV type.
  2. Give the price/NPV type a name and enter a description.
  3. Save your entries.
