Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Financials Basis (FIN-FB) component. The integration of the Shared Services Framework (SSF) and Master Data Governnace (MDG) is facilitated by the integration of the service request and the change request. This integration means allows shared service center users to create change requests directly from the service request user interface (UI). Shared Service Center (SSC) agents need to be able to track the change request's processing status if it is linked in one of the service requests that they are processing.
You can use this BAdI to customize the integration of the service request and the change request. It allows you to customize the content and format of the processing logs and to define the relationship between the change request status and the service request status. You can change the following in the service request:
- Service request status
- Note type
- Note format
- Note content
The following BAdI methods are defined in this BAdI:
- Get missing logs of change request after adding (GET_SR_MISSING_INFO)
You can use this BAdI method to retrieve missing processing logs. If you add an existing change request (that already has a definite status) to a service request, the processing logs are lost. You can use this BAdI method to retrieve the missing logs.
- Calculate and define service request status (CAL_SREQUEST_STATUS)
You can use this BAdI method to define the relationship between the service request status and the change request status. Service request status can be calculated from the status of change requests which are linked to the service request.
- Define note type and format (CHANGE_NOTE)
You can use this BAdI method to define the note type and format that are used in the processing logs of the change request that are copied to the service request note.
