Use

This business add-in (BAdI) can be used, together with report Annual Declaration (HMXCDAN0).

It allows dates to be processed in a way that is technically possible using only this report.

Without the business add-in, to determine the period in which an employee is associated to a company (RFC), the report reads the dates on which the first and last payrolls were run in the system for this employee.

Using the business add-in, the report can read different dates to calculate this period.

Requirements

Standard settings

SAP provides a standard implementation of the business add-in which only reads the current dates (of the first and last payroll run in the system for the employee).

Activities

For information about implementing BAdIs as part of the Enhancement Concept, see SAP Library for SAP NetWeaver under BAdIs - Embedding in the Enhancement Framework.

Example

An employee is hired in the month of January. The Validity Start Date in the Organizational Assignment infotype (0001) is 12/01/2008.

The first payroll run for this employee in the system takes place in March 2008.

In accordance with the system standard setting, the report Annual Declaration (HMXCDAN0) displays the start date of the period as 01/03/2008 (date of the first payroll).

If you want the report to replace this date with the one in the Infotype 001 (12/01/2008), create your own implementation of the business add-in.
